What to expect from Colors of The Game going into 2021

It started with a team of three – a developer, an operations chief, and an amateur football writer. August 1, 2019, to be precise.

Yes, Colors of The Game started as a plan to report and produce sports content that aimed to induce a pang of hunger for organic long-form writing. Five months and 24 posts later, we think we’ve started quite well. 2020 was the year we learned to survive and overcome the odds and coincidentally, Colors of The Game also happened this year.

Since we’re finally done with 2020 and look up to 2021 as the year we can finally get “normal” at some point, here are some promises that Colors of The Game has some promises to put in front of you.

First things first, a new year demands a new look. Colors of The Game will now have a new logo – one that we feel represents us better and will help you remember us for good. The changes will be put into effect immediately, and by now, you might have already noticed the changes.

Now, let’s come to the main point – stories. So what can you expect from Colors of The Game in 2021? The answer is simple and might sound like a cliché, but it depends on what you want. From organic Nepalese sports stories to long-form behind-the-back coverage of international sports, we aim to build on what we’ve started. A promise? You’re going to get them regularly!

We have numerous interviews lined up in 2021, from national football players to administrators of respective sports associations. The amount of love and appreciation that we’ve received and things that we’ve been able to pull off has definitely boosted our morale. Just a hint of a spoiler, we have an extensive player story lined up for the first half of January itself!

Last but not the least, we’re glad that you all have been this supportive towards a venture that aims to bring a breeze of fresh air. We’re now a team of 10, but a family of thousands and we now have a job to do for you all.

Happy New Year 2021, everyone!
